A: The Hong Kong Resilient Community Association (HKReCCA) is the governing body of RESCare Hong Kong. RESCare Hong Kong operates as a social enterprise, and a portion of its revenue will be used to support the community service and development work of the Hong Kong Resilient Community Association.

問: RESCare HK的課程和坊間同樣課程的不同 ?

A: In addition to being a government-approved first aid and defibrillation training institution, we are also a training center or site for several international disaster prevention and preparedness, medical/first aid training programs. We strictly follow the guidelines and licenses of the issuing agencies, and based on the course objectives and the needs and levels of the students, we prioritize practical, work-oriented real-life examples and interactive scenario elements in our course design. We aim to ensure that students can master the course content and apply it flexibly after the course, rather than simply passing the course assessments or requirements.

Q: Does RESCare HK offer a refund policy for its courses?

A: If a class cannot be held due to internal issues of our organization, such as weather or enrollment situation, we will arrange a rescheduling or a full refund with the student. If a student is unable to attend class due to personal issues or time constraints, we will not make any refund arrangements.

Q: How is the quality of the instructors at RESCare HK?

A: Our instructors include those from relevant professional organizations, as well as registered doctors and nurses with practical clinical and frontline work experience. They also include social workers, paramedics, and instructors from various support units to ensure that all instructors have extensive clinical and frontline experience. We also require all instructors to complete our organization's annual continuing education, teaching seminars, and inspection requirements to keep them up-to-date with the latest scientific evidence and local needs, ensuring the effectiveness of the courses and rejecting mere theoretical discussions.

Q: Where are the RESCare HK classrooms located?

A: Our headquarters and classrooms are located in Tsim Sha Tsui, with ample restrooms that comply with fire safety regulations. We also have a dedicated outdoor skills training center in Yuen Long, suitable for rope rescue, high-altitude rescue, and wilderness first aid training. Furthermore, we collaborate with various private hospitals, tertiary institutions, and elderly service centers to establish different community training locations. Our aim is to effectively reach diverse learners and ensure that all students can learn with peace of mind in a safe and comfortable environment.

Q: Does RESCare HK offer any accreditation or certification for its courses?

A: Our courses are absolutely professional and reliable. We are a government-approved first aid and defibrillation training organization, and also a training center or site for many international disaster preparedness, medical/first aid, etc., such as ECSI, AHA, cTECC, ITLS, etc., meeting local and international professional standards. All our courses are reviewed by relevant committees to ensure course quality.

We also welcome government departments, public or private institutions, medical groups, schools and youth organizations to contact us to jointly develop training courses and professional consulting services that meet practical and daily needs.

If the course involves internal security or operational guidelines, we will maintain absolute confidentiality and are willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Q: Does RESCare HK accept Purchase orders, COD, or 30-day payment terms for group classes or eShop?

A: Our clients include various government departments, private hospitals, NGOs, etc. We can accept purchase orders from government departments and organizations, with payment terms of COD or 30 days. Please contact us for details.

Q: How do I pay for the courses and services?

A: We accept payment methods such as FPS, bank transfer, and check.

Q: How can I become one of your mentors?

A: RESCare HK places great importance on teaching quality. We regularly invite outstanding professionals from our student classes who are passionate about teaching, have extensive clinical or frontline experience, and have a positive attitude to participate in our instructor courses. Only after passing the course, the instructors must undergo supervision and continuous evaluation before they can be officially appointed as instructors.

Q: How many days in advance do I need to apply for your on-site services or package training courses?

A: Any package training or on-site service requires an application at least 14 working days in advance.

If, due to special reasons, the processing time is less than 14 working days, we will consider the case individually and provide services to applicants as much as possible. However, this may incur additional administrative costs. Therefore, we encourage organizations and companies to apply for relevant services or training courses as early as possible.
